About Us

The Platform

Música Viva is a strategic initiative to create an artist-centered music platform focused on humanity, where musicians reclaim ownership of their relationship with fans. The platform counters the corporate, algorithmic approach of Spotify and traditional streaming services by placing artists — their music, their stories, their creative process, their brand — at the center of the experience.

The Problem

Streaming platforms pay artists $0.003–$0.005 per play. A mid-level artist needs 20 million annual plays to earn $100,000. Artists cannot access their fan data, do not control how their music is presented, and lack any direct relationship with their audience.

Meanwhile, record labels capture 55–80% of streaming revenue. Artists are content, not partners.

The Solution

On Música Viva, 500 committed fans generate $27,000–$50,000/year for the artist — equivalent to 6.75–12.5 million plays on Spotify. Each artist gets a customizable universe: music library, live stage, creative studio, fan community, merchandise store, and recovered recordings archive.

Artists receive 85% of all revenue from subscriptions, experiences, merchandise, and tips.

Dual Strategy

The platform employs a dual strategy: onboarding established and recognized Latin American singer-songwriters — some semi-retired but with enduring legacies and vast networks — alongside emerging artists and bands who need an organic, direct path to build their fan base without being devoured by algorithms or record label gatekeeping.

For established artists, the platform reclaims and revitalizes their relationship with fans. For new artists, it provides what the industry no longer offers: a way to grow through genuine human connection.

Who We Are

Música Viva is developed by CEMI.ai (Collectively Enhanced Multiple Intelligence), led by Carlos Miranda Levy, in partnership with José Antonio Rodríguez, legendary Dominican singer-songwriter, Viña del Mar winner, former Minister of Culture, and UNESCO Peace Ambassador.

The pilot project with José Antonio Rodríguez demonstrates the concept with a fully functional platform featuring a hybrid revenue model that combines freemium access, subscriptions, and pay-per-experience offerings.
